The RPCR is a pioneer in bringing radiosurgery centers together to show the benefits of radiosurgery to patients, clinicians, and payors. The not-for-profit started in 2010 to evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of radiosurgery for prostate cancer treatment which led to coverage for prostate cancer patients nationwide (see more about the study at ClinicalTrials.gov ). The RPCR is expanding its efforts to help improve the quality and outcomes of radiosurgery treatment for more conditions including lung cancer, brain and bone metastases as well.
